Overview
Founded in 1996, Tomasello Software LLC is a leading provider in
automation software.
Our users are IT professionals from around the world and include Fortune
500 companies, US Government agencies, as well as many thousands of
smaller companies that require sophisticated data and system automation.
Tomasello Software LLC specializes in task automation software and all
specifically designed to suite differing needs.
WinCron, the industry standard in task automation since 1996.
WinCron has a rich history and may well be installed on more systems than
any other 3rd party task automation software.
TaskGhost is specially designed for the scientific community with its
ability to run numerous concurrent tasks. TaskGhost's architecture is well
suited for monitoring applications.
WinCron .NET is the newest member of the WinCron family and by far the
most powerful. WinCron .NET has not only the concurrent capabilities of
TaskGhost, but an expressive language which far exceeds the capabilities
of classic WinCron.
WinCron .NET is fully programmable in C# and VB .NET and has no inherent
limitations. Any task that can be programmed in those languages (virtually
any task) can be designated as a 'Job' and fully controlled with WinCron .NET's
Cron style scheduling syntax.
WinCron .NET has no fancy Graphical User Interface to limit expressability,
but instead makes use of a standard, off-the-shelf telnet client for
familiar commandline administration.

world for a variety of tasks including everything from scientific
applications like astronomy and medical, to fast food, to corporate IT.
Our clients include: IBM, Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, chick-fil-a, United
States Energy Information Administration, and many others.

I've been writing software for the personal computer professionally since
1984 and have a broad understanding of software, programming languages and
and systems architecture.
In 1995, I developed the first WinCron for in-house use; basically we
needed software to 'wake up' at 2am and carry out a sophisticated software
build process and publish. Approximately one year later I took WinCron
public to share it's capabilities with the world.
I've not stopped enhancing it ever since.
Something worth knowing is that I'm one of my own most avid customers! I
currently maintain a commercial web hosting site as well as developing and
hosting a massively multiplayer online role playing game (MMORPG). Our
WinCron software (and most recently WinCron .NET) powers these servers by
carrying out extensive tasks like automated emailing of status logs,
backups, program launches, etc. These scripts are delivered as Sample
Programs in the WinCron .NET deliverable.
